The Magic Pot: a pleasant and convenient culinary experience I had the pleasure of having lunch at the "La Pentola Magica" restaurant in Bovisio-Masciago and I was very satisfied. The food was carefully prepared and the flavors were balanced. I ordered a plate of sedanini, broccoli and sausage and a Florentine steak with fries. Both dishes were very tasty and well presented. The service was courteous and attentive. The staff was always available to satisfy our requests. The location is nice and welcoming. The environment is informal but refined. The price is very reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. I paid just over 20 euros for a first course, a second course, a side dish, water, coffee and dessert. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an enjoyable and convenient dining experience.

I called in the morning to book for 3 people asking for 1.45pm (the kitchen closes at 2pm) and without hesitation we were accepted and informed that they might not have offered us the entire menu both because the kitchen finished service at 2pm but also because last day before closing for holidays... I called back to ask if they could tell me what their menu included so that I could book the dishes immediately. They send me everything via WhatsApp and from there I always write what my wife, daughter and I wanted to eat. We arrive promptly at 1.40pm, we wait 5 minutes and they make us sit down and they come straight away to take the drink reservations. We order 2 complete menus consisting of two first courses, two second courses with bread on the side, two bottles of water and two coffees. This is because my wife only wanted a first course, the little girl wanted a second course with fried potatoes and I wanted the full menu. As an extra a coke for the little girl. Very good first courses (penne with ragù and penne alla boscaiola) and very abundant. For second courses we had a grilled chop with grilled courgettes and a turkey breast with french fries. Second courses of the right quantity and cooking as well as the delicious crispy and non-greasy fried potatoes. Trattoria-style restaurant, rustic but functional, located in an internal street not far from the highway. The only thing I can complain about is the bill because since we were a family and there wasn't a children's menu they could charge us for two fixed menus, an extra cover because there were three of us and an extra coke for the little girl. Instead we paid for a fixed menu, a first course only menu, and a second course only menu with side dish obviously spending more.

Lunch with friends at the “La Pentola Magica” restaurant we were absolutely satisfied. Fast service in a no-frills (unnecessary) and welcoming environment where we ate splendidly with lots of space, (perhaps a little noisy but because it was full..) large tables even for numerous diners. The girls manning the tables are attentive to the customer with kindness and professionalism. Abundant dishes. Very convenient parking Top Lombard cuisine!! Absolutely recommended!! if you go like us at lunch time for just €13 you can eat a complete meal with a choice of three first courses, three or four second courses, various side dishes, water or wine and considering that nowadays 1 sandwich and 1 standing beer are at least €10 I'd say it's not bad at all

Restaurant/pizzeria/trattoria located between Bovisio Masciago and Desio (province of Monza Brianza) - in a secondary street but still clearly visible and attached to the entrance to the Milan-Meda road. The restaurant is welcoming, with friendly staff and typical tavern-style decor, with open kitchen directly from the cash register. Friendly and approachable staff. Presence of both internal and external covers. Rather crowded (at least on the evening of my visit, on a Saturday) - but pleasant temperature and fairly quick service, taking into account the amount of people. In our case, despite not having booked, they still managed to accommodate us at a table for two people. We ordered a fillet with porcini mushrooms, a steak cooked rare, French fries, golden potatoes, half a liter of red wine, two glass bottles of Coca-Cola, a barricaded grappa: total price €65.50 (including a two euro cover charge head). Quality meat, tender and tasty; French fries cooked equally well using clean oil. Highly recommended restaurant, at least for the meat. However, I cannot comment on the first courses and pizzas as I have not yet had the opportunity to try them. To return as soon as possible.
